The Challenge

Maritime operators and municipal ferry authorities face tightening carbon regulations, escalating diesel costs, and noise restrictions in urban waterways. Replacing conventional combustion propulsion with zero-emission electric systems requires solving heavy battery weight constraints, rapid docking turnaround requirements, and port grid power capacity.

Our Solution

An integrated clean propulsion ecosystem combining lightweight hydrofoil composite hull design, high-density liquid-cooled battery systems, and automated shoreline fast-chargers backed by stationary Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to protect the municipal electric grid.

Lead Project Implementation Agency and Solutions Architect. XYNiQs conducts feasibility analysis, aligns international OEM drivetrain partners, coordinates port safety regulators, manages commercial concession modeling, and leads pilot execution.

Technology & Partners

High-torque permanent magnet synchronous marine motors, modular LFP battery packs with thermal runaway prevention, and automated high-power DC fast-charging shoreline connectors developed with global clean mobility specialists.

Implementation Roadmap

Execution structured across 3 distinct phases: Phase 01 (Route Feasibility & Grid Load Assessment), Phase 02 (Pilot Vessel Demonstration & Coast Guard Certification), and Phase 03 (Commercial Fleet Transition & Harbor Charging Deployment).

Measurable Outcome

100% elimination of direct particulate and NOx emissions along coastal routes, 65% reduction in operating maintenance and energy costs per nautical mile, and a virtually silent passenger transit experience with zero hull vibration.
